Vehicle Description
With upgraded V8 power, an updated look, and a comfy A/C interior,
this 1974 Chevrolet Corvette checks all the right boxes for a fun
and useful Stingray, including providing a value price.
This '74 Stingray represented the first year of both the
color-matched front and rear. So there seems to be no better way to
showcase that with a special color. The burgundy seen here feels
like a mid-point between that light and dark red that were offered
by the factory, and so it gives this coupe a unique look without
being out of place. This was part of a restoration that happened
around 2009, and you can tell they paid for quality, because it
lasts. That's why the panels fit nicely and everything looks so
complete. You'll also notice that they upgraded this one to an
L88-style hood, which is a hint at some upgraded power within.
The saddle tan interior nicely complements the exterior burgundy.
It has an understated look that gives this American classic an
almost European tone. You can see there was a solid investment
during the restoration to make sure this looks stock but feels
fresher. You'll love hopping in, grabbing the three-spoke sports
steering wheel, and gazing at the deep dual pod speedo and tach as
you cruise around in your classic 'Vette. It has all the best in
comfort including high-back bucket seats, an AM/FM stereo, power
windows, and R-134A air conditioning. This kind of total package
means you take out the T-tops and look cool in your classic 'Vette
without breaking a sweat.
The engine bay has a nice look of an upgraded machine. It starts
with a bright air topper with the Corvette's cross-flags emblem
etched into it, and even the valve covers have been done to match.
Plus, the look of the burgundy block adds distinction and flair.
The reason for the upgraded look is because this is an upgraded
small block crate motor from Jasper Engines (purists will be happy
to know this Corvette's original V8 also comes with the sale.) They
build strong motors that also provides extra power. This one has
performance upgrades like an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake,
four-barrel carburetor, and headers feeding the dual exhaust. A
Jasper-built three-speed is stout enough to handle this
torque-filled motor while also providing easy automatic shifting.
Don't forget the C3 also knows how to take the corners. With the
fully independent suspension, power steering, and four-wheel power
disc brakes, this classic is an awesome all-around driving
package.
Complete with owner's manual, this Stingray has the distinction,
features, and the price you want. So don't let it slip away. Call
