Car was in storage for many years and reportedly by previous owners
has original miles. Matching numbers 327/300 hp Engine. Casting
number 3782870. Powerglide automatic transmission. Dated CA
5/12/64, 3.36:1 rear end. Correct upper and lower ignition
shielding and dual snorkel air cleaner. Mostly correct under the
hood. Fully detailed engine compartment. Runs and drives great.
Optioned with power steering, power brakes, power windows and AM/FM
radio. Paint code 932 A, Saddle Tan. One repaint in two stage
Base/Clear coat paint, which is in great condition with only some
very minor chip touch ups and imperfections. Very nice body with
bonding strips intact. Original chrome bumpers and stainless, which
are in great driver quality condition. Weather stripping is in
great shape. Rust free and fully detailed under carriage. Trim code
490L, Saddle Tan. Newer Leather seat covers. Newer door panels.
Original headliner is in great condition. Original dash pads which
look like new. Carpet is in good condition. Factory gauges and
shifter. Radial white stripe tires with factory wheels and hubcaps.
Great and easy driving car. Rare find.The car was purchased new at
'Harry Mann Chevrolet' of Los Angeles, CA on 11/27/1964 and has
recently come out of long term storage from it's long time southern
California owners along with some documented history and pictures
including original California registrations and will be sold with
it's original owner's manuals. It is a very striking and seemingly
completely accident and obviously rust-free car and looks extremely
impressive in it's professionally repainted original 'Saddle Tan'
(#932 Color Code, 1 of only 1,765 in this color) factory color
paint with it's original matching 'Saddle' (#490L Trim Code)
reupholstered leather interior in exceptional condition throughout.
The car is all original and numbers matching including it's
original matching #'s 327/300HP V8 'SD' suffix code engine (correct
code for every 327/300HP, AT, car matched to it's correct casting #
3782870) and it's it's original Powerglide automatic
transmission.This is one very rare and unabused and unrestored
examples of one of the best styling efforts of the decade, a
genuine grand touring car in every sense of the word, this shortest
lived Corvette design (1963-67) is probably the most sought after
apart from the 1953-1957 models and is increasing in value and
desirability each year!This particular original California car has
just come out of long time ownership and drives very well and is an
all original matching #'s example with desirable factory options
including power brakes, power steering, power windows and the
