For Sale: 1976 Jeep Wagoneer in Hobart, Indiana

Vehicle Description

For sale is absolutely one of the finest Wagoneers that you will find anywhere at any price.  It originated from Enid Oklahoma and was very nice prior to restoration.

It was stripped down to the bare frame.  The frame was blasted clean and refinished in Chassis Black.  No pitting, beds or welds.  The front and rear axles were completely rebuilt with all new bearings, seals, axle bearings, front axle u joints and the stock 3:08 gears.  The original Quadratrac T case was rebuilt with a Mile Maker Part Time 4wd conversion kit with lockout hubs.  The case also has Low range.  It has a Skyjacker Soft ride 4 inch liflt kit ( all new springs) with hydro shocks.  Truck rides very nicely with this kit.  Stainless brake lines, new rear drums and brake hardware as well as wheel cylinder and brakes.  Front new Calipers, new proportioning valve, new master cylinder and power booster.

The factory TH 400 transmission was rebuilt to factory specs.  The motor (360) was completely rebuilt with a new crankshaft and re-machined heads. Edelbrock Performer intake and Carter afb four barrel carb.  Ignition is updated to a GM HEI. with new voltage regulator and alternator. New water pump, fuel pump, power steering gearbox, rag joint, neutral safety switch, starter and solenoid.  Complete custom inside the frame manifold back dual exhaust with stainless Flowmaster FX mufflers.  New heavy duty radiator and fan clutch, as well as all new hoses.

Rebuilt washer and wiper system.  New front tinted windshield with very nice original side glass, with power rear, heated glass.

The stock fuel tank has been replaces with a 23 gallon Poly tank with new filling hose and new sending unit.  I’ve tested the gauge and it works fine.  The sending unit is also new however he has gauge stays empty until it’s filled all the way so it’s not trustworthy.  The speedo works but is not accurate due to the tire size.

All the interior dome and courtesy lights work as new, all the door pin switches are new.  The interior Is a one off complete custom creation.  The seats are finished in tri- tone saddle vinyl with houndstooth cloth inlays and black cherry piping. Door panels are also hand crafted with matching accents.  The headliner is formed from tung and groove pine with each piece hand fitted.  The dash lights are functional including the 4wd emergency drive indicator, the factory gauges are functional but not hooked up due to the aftermarket gauges.  The stereo has Bluetooth capability.

The body is somewhat of a work of art.  Literally hundreds of hours of block sanding went into the prep to make it arrow straight.  It is finished with Axalta basecoat/ clearcoat in 2018 Chrysler F8 green.  The clear has been color sanded and buffed to literally look like its been dipped in plastic.  There is nothing on the Chrysler showroom with paint like this Jeep.

The trim is original and has been buffed with only a few minor dings and minor fading on the bezels.

As you look at the pics you will see several subtle custom touches throughout the build.  Many I'm sure I forgot to list.

Overall, this Wagoneer, is a complete comprehensive nut and bolt restoration.  Any and every item, or system that could have wear has been replaced.  The body caulk was all stripped and replaced with modern 3m urethane seam sealer.

This restoration was done to the sum of over $80,000.00.  Again, you will be hard pressed to find nicer one in the world for any price.

I am selling to start a hobby farm, therefore I'm not interested in trades, or consignment companies.  Inspections welcome and I will gladly ship internationally as long as you make the arrangements

I accept cash in person at my bank or bank to bank wires only.  No bank or personal checks.
