in Spain. Power comes from a 3.4-liter diesel inline-six paired
with a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer

carrier bed as well as a full-length canvas soft top with roll-up
side and rear windows.
The Militar was similar to the Series III Lightweight built in the
UK, and this example rides on a 109? wheelbase. The drab green body
features squared-off fenders, a double-decker front bumper, small
headlights, metal cab doors with sliding windows, and a troop

odometer reading approximately 44k kilometers (~27k miles). Actual
mileage is unknown. A heater with defroster ducts is fitted below
the dash.
The 3.4-liter diesel inline-six is based on the architecture of
Land Rover's 2.25-liter inline-four and drives all four wheels
through a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer
case. The truck is equipped with dual fuel tanks.
The steel frame is reportedly galvanized and painted black, while
the suspension consists of leaf-sprung solid axles front and

RESTORATIONS:
The term "restoration" in context to the vintage car world has
taken on a definition of its own. For some people, a restoration is
simply painting a car and replacing items as needed, while for
others, restoration means an extensive disassembly and overhaul,
with each piece getting rebuilt or replaced. We are not a
restoration shop, verbiage used in descriptions in reference to
variations of "restoration" are given to us by consignors/sellers
of vehicles. Verification of the level of restoration is the
responsibility of the buyer before purchase either in person or by
third party inspection service.
