HIGHLIGHTS: Chevrolet SB2 engine built by Richard Childress Racing
(RCR), Tremec 5-speed manual transmission, 9" rear end, Wilwood
discs on all four corners, Heidts front and rear suspension, the
list goes on!
BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this Camaro is smooth, straight, and
gorgeous! Built to be a custom street car, this 1967 Camaro is
truly spectacular. It has been well-maintained since it was built,
and the body condition alone shows how cautious the current owner
has been with it.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The paint on this Camaro is Cortez
Silver; a color that has been a Camaro classic since way back. This
is no bargain-basement paint job! The paint has been kept up since
it was built, and looks almost fresh. The silver is subtle, but boy
does it look fantastic on this car!
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The black interior is a fantastic
contrast to the exterior color, and nicely matches the black center
stripes on the exterior. The interior is in nice, ready to cruise
condition and much like the paint it still looks almost new. While
the interior retains a mostly stock look, the 5-speed shift knob
hints at what this car is capable of and the beefed up bucket seats
suggest you may need to hold on! There is no heat, no A/C, and no
radio. These items have been "deleted" rather than simply removed.
This car is meant to be driven and nothing more!
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Where to begin! Under the hood is an RCR-built
SB2 V8, and does it ever rumble! The RCR SB2 is a NASCAR engine
that has been configured for street use. An aluminum Be Cool
radiator keeps the engine cool and gives the engine bay that extra
edge, while the inner fenders appear to be powder coated for that
show-car shine. This car is also equipped with electric fans, a dry
sump oil system, and a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission.
Underneath, this Camaro is just as clean and upgraded as the top
side. Wilwood power disc brakes are fitted to all four corners,
Heidts coilovers up front and 4-link at the rear, and the dual
exhaust is equipped with electric cutouts that are operated from a
switch inside the car.
Other upgrades include a 9" rear end, stainless upper and lower
control arms, rack and pinion steering, upgraded electric wiper
motor, HEI ignition, headers, electric headlight door motors, and a
powder coated subframe. This car walks just as well as it talks!
With all these performance upgrades, it is clear the money has been
spent in all the right places.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: How easy this car is to drive! It
sounds like it may be too hard to handle, but the truth is this
Camaro is simply a joy to drive.
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: The lack of heat, A/C, and a
radio might turn some off. We enjoy listening to the car and
banging gear with the windows down!
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? This car is turn-key!
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? This car is for someone who
doesn't mind listening to the rumble of an American V8! If you're
looking for raw, bold power, this may just be the car for you.
