It is powered by a 3.0L inline-6 motor that is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. G-Wagons were originally produced for the military before Mercedes realized there was a market for civilian versions. This means that the drivetrain was built to handle the harshest of conditions, so whatever city driving or off-roading you choose to throw at it will be handled with ease.
