Some Camaros are built to look mean, but this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro
RS convertible is out to remind you that performance can also be
classy. The perfect coordinating combination of colors inside and
out is joined by its correct small-block under the hood to be the
smartest looking vintage muscle machine out there.
Granada Gold is the factory-correct a color, and this was given a
respray later in life that also included a bit more metallic. So it
really lets this precious metal color radiate in the sunlight...
and that's always nice to see on a convertible. The trim tag tells
us this is a real-deal Rally Sport, and that blacked-out hidden
headlight front end has a timeless look against the gold paint.
Plus, the D91 stripe around the nose and new black convertible top
all coordinate to make a well-done total package. It has
great-looking bumpers, complete trim, and straight panels. The
Rally wheel package was upgraded with a 14/15 inch front/rear
stagger to give it a sporty stance, so that this one shows fast
with class.
If you like the way the black roof looks in place, then you'll love
taking it down to show off the all-black interior. This has a
terrific look that tells you someone invested nicely here. And the
sea of darkness is broken up by the white accenting on the Deluxe
trim - another way this one really shows off its vintage and chic
attitude. It keeps a classic look with the desirable center
console, and even the upgraded AM/FM radio looks quite correct with
its knob-style presentation. You slip behind the original RS wheel,
and look at the factory gauge arrangement set in the
European-inspired dual pod design. It's a total feeling the defines
vintage cool.
Under the hood is Chevrolet's trusty and powerful 327 cubic-inch
V8. This is an era-correct motor, and it's believed to be original
to the car. So we especially like it dressed nicely with Chevy
orange paint on the block, intake, and valve covers. No outrageous
add-ons, just the cool factory-style 327 callout in a package with
tidy belts, wires, and hoses. So this one really shows off its
originality with pride. This has the kind of good maintenance that
means it fires up with ease and runs like a good small-block
should. Add in the Powerglide automatic transmission and power
steering, and this makes it an easy choice for weekend
cruising.
This is a first-year Camaro RS convertible that looks great and
drives with confidence. It makes for the kind of classic you're
going enjoy to the fullest. Call today!!!
