For Sale: 1978 Ford LTD in Grand Rapids, Michigan

It's not a fast sports car, but this LTD II is a highly original survivor 2 door from a time when the Bee Gees, Debby Boone, and Player were at the top of the charts, everyone had a pair of plaid pants, and people were flocking to arcades to try their hand at Space Invaders. Times have since changed, but not much has changed in regard to this car. This car is highly original and includes Ford New car brochures, the original Bill of Sale from late '78, and a number of maintenance records. This Ford two door is finished in White over the optional Kirsten Cloth and vinyl bench seat which is finished in Red. By perusing the original Ford LTD dealer brochure, we found that this car has a number of the many luxury interior features that Ford offered for the LTD lineup. Leather wrapped sport steering wheel, SelectAire air conditioning, Quadrasonic Tape/AM/FM Stereo with 4 speakers, and rear window defroster. The exterior styling of the car is slightly slab sided, but still retains its original trim and paint. Since it is original paint, it does show some age in a number of areas. Beneath the paint, the body is in good solid condition. Other features on the exterior are optional cast aluminum 15 wheels, partial vinyl roof, stacked headlights, and optional vinyl insert body side moldings finished in red. Under the hood is the optional 351ci Windsor V8 mated to an automatic transmission. Get sporty looks with mid-size comfort in this LTD II S. A 351ci V8 under the hood, sleek, classic exterior looks, and a comfortable interior will have you rolling down the road feeling as though you're effortlessly floating through traffic.
