This 1959 Chevrolet El Camino has been custom built with vibrant
two-tone paint, a comfy A/C interior, and solid small block V8

wild look of Chevy's full-sized offering where the '59 redesign had

exterior metallic green returns inside to highlight the rather
sporty factory gauge cluster. Plus, this was subtly upgraded to be
a great driver's machine. For example, the factory-style steering
wheel is mounted on a tilt column, and the radio is a retro-style
unit that has a classic look but a modern AM/FM digital tuner. And
you'll certainly feel the difference of cold-blowing air
conditioning running modern R134a.
Under the hood is an award-worthy presentation of the small block
V8. Not only are the inner fenders and firewall painted to match
the exterior, but also the engine block and intake! And you've got
a ton of polished components that all come together to make sure
you lift the hood at every car show. More than just look great,
you'll also spot the right supporting components, like a new brake
booster and an aluminum radiator. The 350 cubic-inch motor inhales
deeply with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales
with a sweet sound out of the dual exhaust. It's a strong-running
motor that's paired with a smooth three-speed automatic
transmission. Add in power steering, power brakes w/discs up front,
and grippy modern tires, and this is the classic that's effortless
to enjoy.
