Vehicle Description
This 1964 Ford Thunderbird Convertible is a barn find that is
currently under 6,000 miles. This is one of the lowest mile 1960's
Thunderbirds. Even before full restoration the car was kept in good
condition. Now it is in impeccable condition after a year of
complete restoration. The 1964 Ford Thunderbird featured many
unique features such as the 'tilt-away' steering wheel which allows
for easy entrance and exit into and out of the vehicle, a linear
speedometer, 'Bubble Gauges,' you see this car it is breathtaking.
The white on white top with red interior is breathtaking. The
interior features four-place seating. This 1964 Ford Thunderbird
Landau is powered by a 390 CID V8 engine which features a Holley
4bbl carburetor that is mated to a Cruise-O-Matic automatic
transmission. Truly stunning from every angle. The engine and
engine bay has been highly detailed and restored. A look under the
car further shows the commitment to bringing this car back to life.
We've had experts on many pieces because this is not the type of
car that can be restored in one shop. As an example in rebuilding
the brake boosters, the car stops on a dime. This car has a brand
new convertible top, carpet, painted outside of the US to be able
to use the original paint, brand interior partially reupholstered
keeping the original as the interior was in great condition. The
largest investment in any of the Ford Thunderbird convertible is
getting the convertible system correct. The current owner rebuilt
the parts and spent $7,000 to get the system running the way it
should. The 1964 Ford Thunderbird was the first model year for the
4th generation of the Thunderbird. Please Note The Following
