History of the Bentley Continental GT:
The Continental GT was the first mass-produced vehicles from
Bentley after their acquisition by Volkswagen AG. This model was a
brilliant new design that became an immediate success at the Geneva
Auto Show and the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2003! Because of
its combination of both modern construction techniques and
hand-made attributes, build cost were easily controlled which
overall commanded a much larger consumer audience. In 2004, they
were made available to the public with the first generation
continuing through 2011. The standard drivetrain for the
Continental was a Twin-Turbocharged W-12 cylinder engine that
produced 552 horsepower and 479 lb. ft. of torque utilizing a
Torsen continuous all-wheel-drive system!
