1969 Camaro Z28 4spd. Totally FRAME OFF Rotisserie Restored. All
Factory markings, True X33 Trim Group (Z28) w/D80 Designation
(signifies car was equipped with D80 front & back spoilers) Built
the fifth week in September 1969 at the Norwood OH. Assembly Plant.
Painted Daytona Yellow with Black Vinyl Interior. Uniquely, factory
equipped with a front color matched bumper (also known as an Astro
bumper option, similar to the Endura Bumper on a GTO) Original
color was Fathom Green w/midnight green interior. Beautifully
ground-up restored three years ago. Powered by the correct
302/290hp engine, CE block (casting # GM 3970014) replaced under
factory warranty. (Per camaros.org) A casting number could be used
in multiple engine applications, including different engine
displacements. The displacement could be changed by using different
crankshaft strokes. There are many examples of this the 1969 302,
327, and 350 motors all used the same blocks with a 4" bore, just
with three different crankshafts. Though sometimes multiple block
castings were in production at the same time. #'s matching
(19N694036) Muncie M-21 Transmission (casting number 3925660) The
engine appears to have a correct numbered Holley carb. (3923289-DZ
LIST- 4053) Both head numbers also coincide with the sequence of
numbered heads used for this year and model Camaro (3297186). Also
equipped with the correct Axle, numbered: BU (12 Bolt 3.73 gear
Posi Trac.) 0924G2 (Sept. 24. Detroit Gear & Axle Plant) E (Eaton
Posi) Standard bucket seat interior, tach and axillary gauges
mounted under dash. Additional options include: tinted glass, front
and rear spoiler, 15-inch Rallye wheels with BF Goodrich tires,
steel cowl induction hood, power steering, power front disc brakes,
rosewood looking steering wheel, drivers side outside mirror, radio
delete, rear bumper guards and correct spare with jack. This is an
outstanding example of one of the most Iconic muscle cars ever
