The 1969 Chevrolet Camaro has long been recognized as one of the most popular muscle cars of all time. This captivating Black on Black 1969 Camaro presented at auction pays tribute to Baldwin-Motion following a complete, three year, frame-off, rotisserie restoration. The body is laser straight and the lines present true and even. Only NOS and high quality parts were used in the build and the workmanship shows not only in the parts but how the car fits together. The interior presents exactly as it would have rolling off the factory floor.
Under the hood is a solid lifter 427 V-8 just like Baldwin-Motion would have installed back in the muscle car heyday. Sitting atop the intake manifold is a Tri-Power carburetor set-up producing that "rock you back in your seat" power. Connected the the engine is the Muncie M-20 four speed manual transmission. Headers connect to a dual exhaust generating the sound that all muscle car lovers long to hear.
Relaying power to the rear wheels is a 12 Bolt Posi-Traction rear axle sporting 3:55 gears. Braking is controlled by disc brakes in the front and drums in the rear.
The stance of this car is very impressive. The top line of the car is set apart by the Stinger hood. Huggin the car to the road are vintage Torque Thrust wheels and period correct Goodyear Polyglass GT tires.
