17” Polished aluminum American Racing wheels with Goodyear Eagle F1 performance radials all around.
Arguably the most desirable year of the C3 Corvette, the sleek “Coke bottle” shape the first few years these Stingrays were built have such a unique low, lean aggressive look to them that you just have to stop and stare.
This particular Corvette has the looks, performance, and sound we all desire from a Muscle Car/American sports car! The vibrate red paint gleams brightly whether in the sun or in the garage. All of the chrome and bright work looks excellent, as does all of the glass. The roof panels on these Corvettes are removable as is the rear window to provide a full open-air cockpit if you desire.
The engine is the original 350/300hp. In other words, it is the “numbers matching” engine to the car, and you can see this in the photos.
The transmission has been very nicely upgraded from a 4speed to a 5 speed, so if you plan on driving this Corvette, you will certainly appreciate that extra gear. The suspension has also been rebuilt both front and back to include new trailing arms and the cross mounted leaf spring.
Yes, this is a ‘69 Corvette that you can take to car shows and cruise-ins, but more importantly you can enjoy the drive whether a close destination, or a long road trip.
Take a look at the undercarriage of the Corvette, and you’ll find a clean no-rust chassis. Fiberglass doesn’t rust, but it can de-compensate if not taken care of or neglected. All of the fiberglass on this car is excellent both under the car and the exterior.
The 17” polished wheels and performance radials round out the unique look this strikingCorvette provides.
So, if you are considering an early C3 corvette, and you want one that drives great with some nice upgrades over stock, this 1969 should be in contention.
Beautiful, lean, strong, great sounding, great running, and driving Corvette.
