Vehicle Description
This 1958 Chevrolet Apache 3100 Big Window is a freshly built
restomod that has everything from a fully-independent Corvette
suspension to a leather-lined A/C interior. So look over everything
on this well-coordinated and award-worthy total package, because
they really took the time to sweat the details on this one.
This was a full custom build that was complete in 2018, and there's
less than 1,000 miles since then, so everything you see is quite
fresh. The way Satellite Silver blends with Stealth Gray takes a
very professional hand. There's a nice modern metallic glow and
plenty of clearcoat in the total package that really lets you see
the details of the well-presented sheetmetal. And these Apaches are
really known for their curves. You see industrial art everywhere
from the stepside bed, to how the power bulges of the hood melds
into the bodywork. And the curved back glass on the desirable big
back windows is something we all love. Plus, they made nice
investments in the brightwork making sure the grille, bumpers,
headlight bezels, mirror, and door handles all shine. And while
this has the right vintage details, like the glossy wood in the
truck bed, you love it for far more than its classic appearance.
Those well-integrated wide exhaust tips, 17-inch American Racing
Torq Thrust wheels, and aggressive forward-leaning stance are all a
big announcement that this custom was done with performance in
mind.
The moment you open the door, people will instantly marvel at how
the cool two-tone is so expertly continued inside. The custom
leather seats are going to make people marvel at how the gray and
sliver are intertwined, but you may just enjoy them for how nicely
bolster they are for all-day comfort. The custom door panels and
kick plates finished in a matching two-tone. Even the custom
headliner and center console use the color theme to also show off
Chevy's iconic bow tie emblem. They integrated the best in modern
comfort, including a retro-style radio with a digital AM/FM tuner
and Bluetooth, cup holders, and cold-blowing R134a Air
conditioning. The steering wheel is even wrapped to match the
interior, and it's mounted on an Ididit tilt column. And this gives
you a clear view to the well-integrated AutoMeter gauge
package.
The show-ready presentation continues under the hood. Color-matched
inner walls, plenty of polished components, and orderly details
(like the tidy plug wires) really make this whole engine bay look
terrific. Plus, there's plenty of substance behind the style. It's
a 355 cubic-inch V8 that has been upgraded with an Edelbrock
four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock RPM hi-rise intake, and shorty
headers feeding the rumbling dual exhaust. This fresh setup has all
the right supporting components, including a serpentine belt
system, billet pulleys, electronic ignition, and an aluminum
radiator w/electric fan. While all this makes for a fantastic
classic package, you're favorite driving upgrade may just be
underneath the truck. The suspension from a C4 Corvette has been
adapted to this truck. Oh yes, while the original Apache didn't
even have an independent front end, this one has a sports car fully
independent suspension. And just so you can enjoy this true driving
truck to the fullest, it has more great upgrades like a TH350
three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and four-wheel
power disc brakes.
Complete with build receipts, this is a distinct classic pickup
that knows how to turn heads and love the open road. Call
