When was the last time you saw or even better, had the chance to
buy a Camaro with an "ALL ORIGINAL" body? This is a rare
opportunity to do just that !!
This beautiful 1968 Camaro RS/SS 350 was bought out of Southern
California in 2015 where we were told lived & survived the test of
time. It is an original "LOS" built Camaro and it does have an "all
original" body & sheet metal that is incredibly straight, solid &
clean including the floors, trunk & frame. It was restored sometime
ago but looks like it just rolled off the assembly line. Painted in
it's original "RR" Matador Red in 2 stage base/clear that we just
cut & buffed to a show car shine !! It also has like new chrome,
trim, weather stripping & glass.
The black deluxe bucket seat interior also looks new and is correct
to the car's trim tag.
The engine has a "3970010" 350 c.i. small block that we were told
was recently rebuilt using "Iron Eagle" heads, "Thumper" cam,
roller rockers, aluminum intake & Holley carb all breathing through
big tube headers and Flowmaster exhaust. This engine sounds awesome
and runs as good as it sounds!!
All this is backed by a tight shifting Muncie 4 speed transmission
with Hurst shifter and a 12 bolt posi rear with 3:73 gears.
Other features include functional hide-away headlights, 4 wheel
disc brakes, factory console with gauge package, in-dash Tic-Toc
Tach, tilt steering column with a comfort grip steering wheel, 18"
& 20" Ridler 5 spoke wheels and more!!
