This 1978 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT is a really nicely restored
Arizona Bronco. It spent irs life in the Arizona Desert so it is a
clean and solid Bronco. Because it was such a clean rig to start
with the restoration was frame-on, but they still spent a lot of
time to make it look crisp and you would think it was a frame-off
restored vehicle. This truck has a great look and the 78-79 Broncos
are getting very hard to find in this condition for a fair price.
The body is super straight and we found no hidden rust or rust
repair on the truck. When it was restored it was painted Sunburst
Orange Pearl and the paint looks fantastic. They did a really nice
job on the paint when it was restored a few years ago and it still
looks wonderful with only some minor stone chips from driving. They
put all new weatherstripping and window seals in the Bronco when it
was painted. All of the chrome and stainless is in great condition
as well. The top has the sliding side window option as well which
is pretty cool.
The interior of this Bronco was also redone and it is obviously in
excellent condition. It has nice custom upholstery throughout that
matches the paint scheme nicely. They added a chrome roll bar to
the interior and the last owner spent some money on a nice stereo
system with custom speaker boxes in the rear. The interior was all
Dynamatted which is very desirable to keep things quiet and
insulated. It also has an alarm system. All of the lights, wipers,
gauges, heat, and ac are working. The only thing we found not
working was the horn.
The last owner told us he had the 400M V8 rebuilt and he added
Ceramic Coated headers and dual exhaust. He put an Edelbrock
intake, Holley 4 Barrel carb, and added an aluminum radiator as
well. This rig has Power Front Disc Brakes and Power Steering too!
The Automatic Transmission is a C6 that shifts nice and it has an
updated Borg warner Transfer Case. Rear End is a Ford 9 Inch with
3.50 gears and the front End is a DANA 44 with 3.50 Gears. It has a
4 Inch Lift Kit with Quad Shocks up front and it also has front and
rear sway bars. They added all new polyurethane bushings when the
lift and steering was redone. Recently they put on 5 Brand New
tires and Rims and that really look great!!! This Bronco runs and
drives excellent even with the lift and big tires. It really was
fun to drive!
