Chevrolet's full size Delray, Biscayne, Belair, and Impala was a One-year only design. As such, this particular year has become highly desirable. This particular Hardtop is very easy and fun to drive, it's comfortable, has a clean interior, and mechanically very well sorted.
The project part of this Chevy is that it has some rust bubbles in a couple of the lower fender areas visible in the paint up close, and some rust in the rockers underneath, and although not visible unless you have the car on a hoist, it does not affect the structural integrity of the car,  I feel anyone considering a classic car  should know it's weak areas.
That being said, this is an excellent car if you are considering a nice driving classic that you can enjoy while you're working on it. It's very reliable, has a good strong engine and drive train, and is comfortable even for long distance travel.
The Rio Red paint shines very nicely with a very fine metallic, and with the classic 5 spoke chrome wheels, this Chevy will garner as much attention at the car shows and cruise-ins as any other car .
If your looking for a cool classic car, that you can drive anywhere, take on road trips, go to car shows in, use as a daily driver, and fully enjoy while you improve a few things as time and finances permit...This just might be the classic project car you’ve been waiting for!
