For Sale: 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS in Seattle, Washington

Vehicle Description

Correct and original 1964 Chevelle SS (#5837) known as “Malibu Barbie,” built on the first day of production in Fremont, California, serial number 00072. Completely redone with modern resto-mod upgrades such as a GM crate LS3 (525 hp+) and Tremec T-56 6 speed manual. CPP (Classic Performance Products) Big Brake upgrade and Ford 9” rear end with 3.5 ratio gears. Has all new steering gear including steering box. Comes with car cover and interior battery disconnect switch for security.

Other suspension upgrades include:
Global West Upper and Lower A-arms (increased caster for high-speed stability and turn-in)
Viking double adjustable front coil-overs
CPP 4 bar triangulated rear suspension with single adjustable rear shocks
235/40/18 and 275/40/18 Bridgestone Potenza performance tires with Coy’s chrome wheels
Front and rear heavy duty sway bars

Engine upgrade:
GM LS3 crate engine with upgraded cam
Holley EFI Sniper fabricated intake manifold

Car is completely sorted and shows 11,100+ miles since it was built in 2015. All original sheetmetal with no rust anywhere. Car will roll with the best of them and is rock steady at freeway speeds, can handle anything you can throw at it including autocross, long distance touring or hanging out at the local pub. Has participated in Monterey car week, Cool April Nites in Redding, CA, GoodGuys and Hot August nights in Reno. I’m selling because I’m building another ride, time to let someone else enjoy my work.
