Vehicle Description
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this incredibly rare 1950
Pontiac Chieftain convertible! This eye catching classic comes in a
stunning purple paint job complemented by a spotless black interior
and matching convertible top. The convertible top is in excellent
condition and functions as it should. Powering the Chieftain is a
248 cubic inch I8 motor mated to a smooth shifting automatic
transmission. This vehicle comes to us from a private automotive
collector who owned the vehicle for over 45 years. During that
ownership a full restoration is believed to have been completed
based on its excellent condition. Additionally, the vehicle has
always been properly stored and maintained by the mechanically
inclined collector. So, if you're in the market for a stunning drop
top classic sure to impress this Chieftain is for you. Please call
or email us today for more information.
The Chieftain is an automobile produced by Pontiac from 1949 to
1958. The 1949 Chieftain and Streamliner models were the first all
new car designs to come from Pontiac in the post World War II
years. Previous cars had been 1942 models with minor revisions.
