By the VIN number this car was manufactured in 1957, making it a Mark I (produced from July 1954-October 1957.
This is a very reliable daily driver, Registered, and Titled and inspected in Texas. I got this car in California and it is very rust free. It has 5 small rust areas (see the pictures).
The rebuild or restoration was completed in 2001. It has a 1275 CC “A” Series Engine (from an MG Midget) a Nissan 210 5 speed Transmission, MG Midget Rear End and brakes, It has the original Front suspension with Up-Dated Front struts with Armstrong strut cartridges and Front Disc Brakes with GM dual line master cylinder.
A 5 ¼ gallon fuel cell in addition to the original 6 gallon gas tank. The front door and wing windows have been replaced with new glass and power window’s, (the original glass and riser assembly will be with the car.
New wiring through-out, VDO Electronic Gages,
