The Caballero was GMC's response to the Gen5 Chevrolet El Camino hybrid sedan/pick-up. This 1983 Caballero appears to have led an easy life and has been partially restored back to original condition. It was carefully prepped and re-sprayed (2009) in two-tone pale blue/silver that is in very good condition. All chrome is outstanding and exterior features include dual sport mirrors, side pin stripping, 14" GMC rally wheels w/centers/trim rings and white-letter radials. The original 60/40 cloth/vinyl interior is also in good condition. Our Caballero is equipped with factory air conditioning, Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo, tinted windows and wood grain dash accents. Horsepower is provided by a 350ci crate motor that was installed in 2017 and backed by a new GM 3-speed automatic transmission. The chassis is equipped with power steering and power disc/drum brakes. Other new components include: Rochester Quadrajet carb, radiator, fuel tank, exhaust system and heater core. This rare GMC Caballero has been well cared for and carefully refreshed.
