This 1961 Impala is an excellent example of a show car that has the reliability, and drive-ability that
makes it such a fun car to drive that you’ll want to take extended road trips in it. Of course you can
trailer the car to distant events, but when they drive this nice, and have the amenities that this Impala
has, you ‘ll certainly want to enjoy driving it.
The House-of-Kolor teal paint grabs your attention, and the the billet wheels fit the color combo that take you strait to the 90’s hotrod era.
As they say, “There’s nothing like big block power”, and that surely rings true here with the 502 cube
super strong running V8 under the hood, set up nicely with fuel injection, and that Tremec overdrive 5-
speed transmission.
Fuel injection means there’s no pumping on the gas pedal first to get the car started. Just turn the key,
and the 502 ‘barks” to life even stone cold with a willingness to move you forward with such thrust that
we all love to experience from big-block torque.
Make no mistake, although this Impala has the performance, sound, and ease of drive-ability that make
it a pleasure to drive, you’re not going to have give up the driving comforts you enjoy as the Italian
white leather seats will keep you comfortably driving for hundreds of miles at a time, and with the
Vintage A/C and heating system, you and your passengers will be riding around in true comfort no
matter the outside temperature or conditions.
Take a look at the undercarriage of this “Bubble-Top” and you’ll see just how quality the restoration
was. Not just the quality of the components used during the restoration,, but all of the clean original
metal is excellent, and was painted a deep gray color for a clean smooth look.
Most importantly, there is no rust in this Impala, underneath, or under the paint, or anywhere for that
matter. Truly a very nice, very quality restoration!
If you’re considering a ‘61 Impala “Bubble Top”, and want a completely restored car that’s ready to
cruise to car events, take road trips, has proven long distance reliability, and completely shaken-out with 3,412 total miles on the complete restoration...Here it is! Ready to go!!
