The Pontiac Firebird is a General Motors legend. It started like
almost all 1960's Pontiac success stories; with John DeLorean.
Having been shot down on his Banshee concept car, John took on the
new Camaro's chassis instead and gave it unique Pontiac flair.
Under the hood of this beautiful example sits a potent 400C.I. V8
engine fed by a 4-barrel carburetor and mated to a strong
Turbo-Hydramatic 400 transmission that's sure to allow this classic
Pon-Pon to drive down the road with ease. Other features included
on this Firebird include power brakes, power steering, and power
convertible top for open air fun. The exterior is finished in bold
Carousel Red accented by tasteful amounts of chrome and PMD Rally
II wheels wrapped in high-performance Sumitomo HTR A/S P02 redline
tires. The interior is in very nice condition and is covered in
smooth black vinyl with bucket seats and a center console finished
in a tasteful wood burl veneer. The Firebird became as much of a
pony car staple as it's sister Camaro, and solidified Pontiac's
performance image for years to come. Pontiac may not be with us
