For Sale: 1970 GMC Sierra in Columbus, Ohio

Vehicle Description

Cruisin' Classics is proud to present this 1970 GMC Sierra 1500. This beauty has been restored meticulously and it shows. It retains its original cab corners and rockers, and you can tell it has been cared for since day one. Under the hood is a stock 350 C.I V8, which is dated 1970. It is an era correct engine. This truck, also has factory air conditioning which was a rare option in these days. Back in 1970, trucks were work trucks. This one however, was quite luxurious for its time. It is a factory Dark Olive Green Metallic truck, and it was repainted the same color. This truck is exceptionally easy to drive, with power steering, and added power disc brakes. Included with the truck, is the original Protect-O-Plate, bill of sale, and the first temp tag registration from when it left the dealer new. Let's dive a little further into the details of this fine machine. The mileage is 96,930 miles and is actual.ENGINE350 C.I V8Casting: 3970010Suffix: TAX 1970Quadrajet CarburetorStock Steel ManifoldsPoints IgnitionTRANSMISSIONTH350 3 Speed AutomaticColumn ShiftREAR END12 BoltOpen DifferentialSUSPENSIONLowered 3 FrontLowered 5 Rear5 Lug SwappedDisc Brakes FrontDrum RearEXTERIORSlick Dark Olive Green Metallic Paint ( Factory Color)LoweredChrome Front amp; Rear BumpersSport Rear BumperOriginal Cab Corners and RockersBed Floor Painted Body Color- Slick PaintSmooth TailgateCorrect GMC BumperEyebrow Headlight CoversDual MirrorsOriginal Stainless GrillINTERIORGreen Bench Seat, Houndstooth InsertsFactory Air Cab (Functioning)Green Vinyl Correct Door PanelsNew Green CarpetFunctioning Dome LightNew Dash PadDash is Original PaintAftermarket AM/FM/CD PlayerOverall, this GMC is a fantastic driver that is a show stopper where ever it may go. Many Chevrolets were made this year, but you rarely see the GMC Trucks of this era. Especially in this condition. It is extremely easy to drive, as it runs, stops and steers with ease. The engine purrs as it did when new, and the transmission shifts great. This GMC was extremely solid to begin with, and it was taken to the next level. The more you walk around it, the more details you see that you generally don't notice on your average truck. Some of those things are, the sport rear bumper, the smoothed tailgate, the body color bed floor and even the woodgrain inserts on the gauge bezel and glovebox. Inside and out, this truck is stunning. If you have any additional questions, please call one of our friendly sales staff.
