Vehicle Description
1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Convertible for Sale. Rare and restored
Fairlane Convertible finished in a traditional two tone black and
white paint scheme of the 50's and completed with gold accent
molding. Powered by a 292 Cu In V8 with throaty dual exhaust
sitting in a highly detailed engine bay finished to show quality
standards. A 3 speed manual transmission shifts smoothly as you go
through the gears. The interior is color coordinated in black and
white and has room for family or friends. A black power top, black
boot, color keyed full skirts and twin chromed mirrors sit on top
of the front fenders to complete the exterior. The car's appeal is
further enhanced by a gleaming chromed Continental Kit. Hi-gloss
chrome and brilliant bright work will catch anyone's eye! The car
rolls on stock steel wheels with full hub caps carrying a set of
wide whitewall radials. The care given to this car over the last 30
years plus under the same owner is reflected by the detailed
undercarriage with painted black frame and waxed white floors. Even
the brake and fuel lines were custom made during the restoration
from stainless steel. Ready to Show or Go! In 1957, Ford actually
out sold Chevy! You rarely come across these Fairlane 500
Convertibles. When most think of a 1957 Ford Convertible, they
think of the Retractable introduced that same year. Here's a really
rare opportunity to own a true 50's Cruiser. If you become the new
owner of this STUNNING car, it comes with a pair of "At the Hop"
jackets and a window tray complete with hamburger, fries and 50's
menu for display at any local Cruise In or Car Show you attend. A
50's Cruiser ready to roll and enjoy!
