Brown is cool color on this hot rod, especially because there's
triple-brown striping in the doors. It's a well-coordinated
package, right down to the brown insert on the tailgate. And this
one has the proper T-bucket details we all love, like the
carriage-style taillights, two-piece windshield, and long
windshield supports that run all the way to the headlights. And of
course, the Ultra alloy wheels feature extra wide rear units to
give this a mean stance and really show where the rubber meets the
road.
The tan interior coordinates nicely with the shades of brown on the
exterior. It's a thoughtful setup where the wraparound pattern on
the seat flows nearly seamlessly to the bed cover. And the studded
boarder around the cab makes the whole interior look like an
armchair. There are cool driver-oriented features like Grant GT
sports steering wheel, grip-style B&M shifter, and a real wood
dash with classic-style Stewart Warner gauges. And while this has
an AM/FM/CD upgrade, we really know your favorite soundtrack is
courtesy of the beast that's just on the other side of the
windshield.
The 350 cubic-inch V8 has some added flair with the triple
butterfly air intake, polished valve covers, and a diamond plate
firewall. It also has nice supporting components like
steel-reinforced hoses and a BeCool aluminum radiator with electric
fan. But what you'll like best is the performance. The V8 inhales
deeply with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock
intake. It exhales with authority as Sanderson headers add power
feeding straight into the thunderous side pipes. As you look
underneath this one, it has a proper hot rod suspension with
hairpins up front and ladder bars with adjustable coilovers in the
rear. Plus, you have nice driving features like front disc brakes
and a three-speed automatic transmission to keep this T-bucket a
true cruiser.
