1931 Ford Model A 68C Cabriolet
VIN: A1648060
In May of 1931, Ford began to transition the Model A fCabriolet rom the 68B to the 68C, and was made from May 1931 until the end of Model A production. Production totalled only around 6600 units. They featured a more sporty style with the windshield raked back about 10 degrees and hence are called slant windshield cabriolets. With the lowest production numbers, the sportier look and the convertible top, the 68C Cabriolets are among the most desirable of Model A body styles.
The car presented at auction, while an older restoration, still presents very well. The rarity of this car makes it a favorite among Model A enthusiasts. :
