Vehicle Description
This slick 1959 Chevrolet Apache 3100 pickup has obviously received
a ton of time and investment. It's a bold two-tone machine, and as
you dig deeper, you're going find a ton of upgrades, including
solid V8 power.
This truck immediately declares that it's something different the
moment it arrives. After all, the colors look similar to the Orange
Fuse and River Rock Gray you can get from Harley-Davidson. It's a
clue to this truck's past. This was at a Harley dealer for some
time, and so the finish had to be professional-grade. But even if
you're not fantasizing about using this one to haul your own Hog,
there still is a ton of appeal here. The two-tone is expertly
intertwined so that you really see the rocket-like design going
along the desirable fleetside bed. And the orange wheels draw even
more attention to the whitewall tires. Plus, the silver pinstripe
does a terrific job of making a distinct dividing line for the
orange and gray all along the body. Add in chrome bumpers, a
windshield sunshade, and plenty of real wood in the truck bed, and
this one satisfies both your love of classic and custom.
The exterior colors return inside on the door panels and dash. It
gives this truck a nice uniform feeling, but what you'll really
love are all the custom upgrades. It starts with a two-tone bench
seat with matching removable center console that adds a nice touch
of individual comfort. The steering wheel is a wood-rimmed unit
that looks good when paired with the wood-like artistry of the
glove box door. The classic Chevy fan-style speedometer is now
joined by upgraded auxiliary gauges, including a handy tach. There
are even provisions for R134a air conditioning. And if this is
starting to look like a nice place to spend some time, then you'll
really enjoy the upgraded tunes provided by the touchscreen stereo
with AM/FM/CD and Bluetooth.
Under the hood is a 350 cubic-inch V8. It's a tidy setup with some
extra flair from the Edelbrock valve covers and shining air topper.
But what should really get you excited this shows to be a useful
truck with components like newer hoses, a new battery, and a large
Champion aluminum radiator w/electric fan. The V8 inhales deeply
with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with a
sweet tune from the dual exhaust. This is built to be a solid
driver, and so you have an upgraded front suspension, a stout TH400
three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power
brakes w/discs up front.
This truck was all about doing proper work and looking good the
whole time. So you know that makes for a solid foundation for an
outstanding classic. Call today!!!
