Vehicle Description
1939 Ford Custom Roadster
The 39 Ford had some iconic body lines and was already unique from
the factory but companies like Coast to Coast came along and took
the already great look to a level only artists could envision. The
swooping fenders, sloping nose were exaggerated for a incredibly
unique custom appearance and these cars are among the coolest
street rods on the road. This 39 Coast to Coast Ford Roadster is
absolutely beautiful from front to rear. It was built in 2007 and
constructed to not only be a high end show car but drive as well.
You see a lot of these vehicles that were built to their life on a
trailer and never see the road. Well that isn't the case here. The
owner wanted something they could hop in and take anywhere. It was
professionally built with $130,000 invested to create a one of a
kind dream machine. The fit and finish is excellent and the quality
of the workmanship very apparent when you look at it closely. The
paint is a bright House of Color Tangelo Orange Pearl Candy that is
just absolutely beautiful out in the sun. The finish is in great
condition. The body has been kept really clean with very minimal
trim and no handles. The hardtop fits perfectly in place and can be
easily removed. It comes with a boot to keep it protected when not
installed on the car. It has a great stance and you know this thing
has to look extremely tough hugging the ground as it flies past
you. The Intro polished wheels look excellent and it has 17 inch
rims in front, 20 in rear. They are wrapped with Toyo Proxies tires
which still have a lot of life left in them.
Under the hood sits a 350 V8 TPI aluminum head Corvette roller
motor that runs very well. It is show ready with everything being
polished or painted to match the body. It has a March serpentine
belt system and was built with the best of the best. It sounds very
tough through the 2 inch Borla exhaust that exits under the center
rear of the car. The transmission is a 700R4 which moves through
the gears with ease and sends power back to the Corvette
independent rear end. The front and rear suspension are out of a 87
Corvette as are the power disc brakes. It really has every feature
you could ask for. The underneath of the car looks just as
beautiful as the top and the Coast to Coast frame is painted
Silver. It was built to be driven so some dirt underneath is
nothing to fear but it is also a car you could clean up and slide
mirrors under at any show. It is just so well done.
The interior of it is fully leather with Ostrich skin inserts. It
is very comfortable and in great condition. The Burberry carpet
looks great and has been kept very clean. You can tell that since
finished the car has been extremely well cared for. It has power
door locks, power windows and a power trunk. Manual door locks have
also been added as a safety feature for the suicide doors. The
Classic Instruments are nicely mounted in a beautiful bezel in the
center of the dash. The A/C system blows cold and vents mounted to
the dash and the custom center console. The Lokar shifter is routed
through the console which also houses the power window controls, AC
controls and stereo. The stereo is a nice AM/FM unit that is blue
tooth and digital audio player compatible.
This car is absolutely beautiful and needs nothing. You won't find
a single weak area on this car and couldn't come close to building
it for this price. It is being offered up around 50% of what it
would cost to build. Save yourself the headache and but one that is
already complete and ready to go!
