This unbelievably original 1968 short wheel base 911 was purchased new in Illinois and stayed in the ownership of the family until it was recently acquired by its second owner. It is without question one of the lowest mile, unmolested and honest 911's I have ever come across. The cars paintwork is nearly completely original with few flaws . There is NO rust or rust repair. The interior is absolutely original with the exception of the seats being rebuilt/re-stuffed, keeping the original seat covers. The seat covers, dash, carpeting, door cards, headliner, original wood trimmed steering wheel, etc are all in remarkable original condition. This is a numbers matching car with just 65,000 original miles. The car is sold complete with all original documentation, tools and complete set of its original date stamped factory steel wheels. The cars original 2.0 liter motor, though running well, leaked and was recently given a complete overhaul by a well known Porsche tech with 50 years Porsche experience. The transmission shifts perfectly. The car tracks perfectly, there is no steering play. Brake pedal modulation and feel is Porsche perfect. Doors ping :)
