is a top-notch restoration! The doors, hood and trunk close with
the lightest touch and the big block engine roars to life at the
bump of the key. This car is built right and is a car you can
immediately start winning trophies with. The exterior is painted a
bright red that was professionally sprayed over an incredibly
straight body. The stock hood has been professionally cut and
actually goes down around the hood scoop. A prop rod holds it open
so you can show off the clean engine compartment at shows. This
Ford is lowered and rides on Boyd Coddington aluminum alloy wheels.
The famous Thunderbolt was the inspiration for this Fairlane, but
it was taken to the next level with custom touches everywhere you
look. 460 badges on the fenders let onlookers know that this beast
isn't messing around! The big block Ford 460 is built with an
Edelbrock intake, Holley carburetor, big tubular headers and a mild
cam. An aluminum radiator keeps it all cool and aluminum valve
covers and a big menacing breather make the engine the star of the
show. The engine is nestled into a completely smoothed engine bay.
The inner fenders and firewall are smoothed and painted the same
bright red the exterior wears. A built C6 automatic transmission
handles the power and provides smooth quick shifts. Adjustable
ladder bars and coil-overs put the power to the ground out back.
When it's time to stop, 4-wheel disc brakes handle that job with
ease. The interior is clean and simple. The dash has been smoothed
with the ignition and headlight switch hidden underneath. A billet
gauge cluster houses Dolphin white face gauges and an AM/FM/CD
player has been added. A B&M shifter on the floor is a fun way
to get through the gears while you sit on the very comfortable red
vinyl bench seat. Strap in with the retractable seatbelts and turn
up the A/C on those hot summer cruises. The attention to detail
doesn't stop there. Even the trunk is nicely finished with black
vinyl panels surrounding the fuel cell. The wiring and lines are
nicely routed so you see as little of them as possible. This is a
no expense spared restoration that will make the next owner very
proud to show it off. This vehicle is eligible for an extended
