Vehicle Description
This 1952 Chevrolet 3100 has that ultra-cool classic truck vibe,
right down to the whitewalls. But as you look closer, you see an
upgraded A/C interior, V8 power, a fully upgraded suspension,
overdrive transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, and more. So if you
want vintage looks but all the right modern comforts, this is your
pickup.
Chevy's Advance Design pickups are one of the most desirable
classic trucks around. They took the time to give them some of the
coolest curves of post-war America, and so they have earned iconic
status. But it's more than just history that attracts you to this
one. The dark green paint has a nice gloss to give you proper
nostalgia. Plus, there's plenty of extra shine in the bumpers,
trim, bezels, and hallmark five-bar grille. You'll also love the
well-coordinated white accents like the pinstriping around the cab,
tailgate lettering, whitewall tires, and paint behind the grille
slats. This one has a nice classic look, right down to the real
wood in the truck bed. But there are also little hints that this is
an upgraded machine, like the lowered suspension and the
elimination of the vent windows in the side glass.
All the white pieces of the exterior get you ready for the white
accents inside on the doors, dash, and even the steering wheel.
This is joined by a tasteful tan for an upscale appearance. Not
only does this look premium, but also it has been upgraded for the
best in modern features. You get a classic style bench, but now it
has good modern bolstering. There's even a driver's fold-down
armrest for when you want individual comfort. Plus, there's
cold-blowing R134a air conditioning, and the tilt steering column
gives you a clear view to the upgraded Dolphin gauge package.
The upgraded V8 looks great in the tidy and fresh engine bay. The
smooth firewall and polished components make a nice display for the
350 cubic-inch V8. Not only is it larger than anything they ever
offered in these 3100s, but it inhales deeply with an Edelbrock a
four-barrel carburetor. Plus, it exhales with headers that add
power while feeding the very straight pipes of the dual exhaust.
There are even the right supporting components, like an aluminum
radiator w/dual electric fans. As you look over all the features
and pictures (including the undercarriage photos) you'll see a
fresh build made for driving. This includes the rack & pinion power
steering, a four-speed transmission w/overdrive, a Mustang II-style
front end w/tubular A-arms, a four-link rear w/stabilizer link, and
four-wheel power disc brakes.
This is the Chevy pickup with vintage looks, but all the upgrades
so that you can enjoy it easily near or far. So if you want a '50s
machine that's as comfortable as a commuter, don't miss this deal.
