THE STORY BEHIND THIS
1953 CHEVROLET 3100 RESTO-MOD
A weeks or so ago, we had one of my favorite cars listed ... a 1969 Chevelle SS 396 ... when a 68 year old gentleman visited our Hot Rod Ranch and just fell in love with it. The only problem was, I would have to buy his 1953 Chevy 3100 4X4 first.
You see ... he had purchased it some time ago from the gentleman who had personally built it ... and ... after hearing more about it ... and ... that it was a 4X4 with a Corvette LT1 engine, I was very excited. Well ... we were able to work out the purchase and I can now offer you one of the most incredible Resto-Mod Pickup's I have ever owned.

02/18/2020 UPDATE:
We sold this beautiful Custom Resto-Mod 53 Chevy Pickup about a year ago to a retired Vintage Car and Motorcycle enthusiast who lives in Alabama. He has become a good friend and we have stayed in touch often. A few weeks ago we listed a 1967 GTO Convertiblethat was a incredible "Original" car with only 50,000 miles on it. My friend called and stated ... that owning this specific 67 GTO Convertible car was high up on his "Bucket List". He also also shared that he had spent over "Big Money" on the Chevy since he got it from us. He added a Exterior Sun Visor, a Lighted Hood Ornament, Fog Lights and Custom Wooden Side-Rails for the bed. Additionally, he installed a new Battery Box in the bed and had a AMOCO Service Badge hand painted on the doors (he stated that paint was used that could be removed at a later date).
Well... He now owns our 67 GTO and we can now offer you this incredible 53 4X4 Chevy Resto-Mod.
