True garage find. Un-touched, un-restored original paint survivor. While a 1957 Pontiac Star Chief isn't my first choice of collector cars I got lucky when I found this car, it's one of a kind. This Star Chief was bought new from Allison Pontiac in San Jose California on October 22nd, 1957. The original owner was 42 years old when she bought it new and passed away in 2005 when it was passed on to her son. Her son was 14 years old when his mother bought the car. He put it in his garage and drove it just every once in awhile to keep things lubricated. When her son passed away in 2017 the car became available. It runs and drives like new and the exhaust system has been professionally redone from front to back so you can barely here it idle. Solid no rust body. It's available for sale in all its original glory with it's original paint, door dings here and there, tail light housing on the driver side chipped at top, original windshield with crack, worn original leather interior, original headlights etc. The original chrome shows age but still shines and the steering box drips a drop of oil here and there. All five tires have been replaced with original style Goodrich bias ply. This car is 100% road worthy.
