Before you consider purchasing a lotus Europa that is a barn find project $1K-$5K or one claimed restored $25K-$45K without true documentation of how long ago actual restoration was performed with specific items addressed, be aware of all the issues and hidden costs and lack of availability of new parts related to body shell, engine, transmission, these are very unique cars for the average sports car enthusiast before considering purchase do your research.
Available for purchase with our Race Proven Ford 2.0 drive line conversion. Be prepared spending over 350 hours of labor / fabrication work, with additional cost over $32k in parts and material to duplicate. This Europa was originally fitted with Suzuki GSXR 1000 Engine / Drive train, see videos below. Complete drive train was removed and sold to a client in japan. Body / Chassis. Above average condition, on the scale of 1-10 (8+) with all o.e glass / aluminum glass trim/ seals installed, window regulators /window motors serviced and installed, all door hinge bushings /shafts replaced, locks /latch mechanism serviced installed, hood, engine cover, with latch /locks installed, with relocated seating position and reinforced driver / passenger seat frame braces attached to chassis, improved drivers seating position is enhanced including custom form fitted INDI SEAT, this type of beaded material provides exceptional support and comfort providing additional leg and head room setup for drivers up to 6' 2" - 200lbs + without distorting the fiberglass floor as original seats where fitted, quick release steering wheel for easy driver access. Dash with full instrumentation, complete electrical system replaced and updated with modern instrumentation, switches, custom new wiring harness, new gas tank and all related fuel lines.
Front Suspension Components. Custom Bilstein Racing shocks / springs, upgraded larger front calipers / discs, new Tilton race master cylinder, custom pedals including Tilton brake pedal fixture for positive brake feel, clutch pedal spacing made wider with Tilton clutch master /slave cylinders for easier confident driving regardless of shoe size, with all new brake / hydraulic hard lines and steel braided hoses.
Rear Suspension Components. Adjustable track rods with solid rod ends, reinforced chassis mounted brace. modified mounting points at uprights. Not the original design track rods attached to transmission case with a small bracket, causing inconsistent rear alignment due to flex at transmission / mount . Trailing (Radius ) arms, modified with adjustable solid bushing assembly mounted with reinforced double shear mounting to chassis, providing custom tow / track / wheel base adjustability options for wider wheels / tires for street or track, custom spax adjustable shocks / new springs, updated hub / stub axle assembly with disc brakes, converted to c/v joints with custom axles to match VW transaxle.
Engine / Trans / Drive Train Conversion. Replacing the antiquated, under powered Renault engine and weak trans axle, not to mention lack of new parts to service. We have designed an alternative complete engine and trans axle assembly. Actually this conversion is 10lbs lighter than Renault package, due to weight saving of lightened engine rotating assembly, replacing cast iron intake / exhaust manifold ,and all other engine / transmission ancillary components.
Utilizing race proven reliable F.C / S2000. Ford 2.0 engine producing 150-160 H.P. (spec race trim)
Upgraded dry sump race engine, with longer rods, larger bore, lightened, balanced rotating assembly, our proprietary direct ignition system with custom individual port manifold and carburetors.
Due to increased H.P / Torque. Modified V.W trans axle, with custom engine adapter built to off road specifications rated for 190-200 H.P

185-195 H.P @ 6500-7000 rpm (pump gas)
210-215 H.P @ 6900-7500 rpm (race fuel, E85)
With custom gearing /final drive ratios, with 26".5 tire dia. @ 2500 r.p.m 4th gear. *62 mph. @6500 r.p.m 4th gear. *161 mph.
