Vehicle Description
1969 CHEVY K20 RESTOMOD PICKUP, 2003 LQ4 6.0L V8, 5SPD MANUAL,
DANA, VINTAGE A/C FRESH INVENTORY! This week Canyon State Classics
is pleased to present a beautifully restored and modernized Chevy
3/4 ton pickup. This truck started life as a totally rust free bed
and cab and was fully rebuilt using all the best in late model
Chevrolet heavy duty driveline parts. It was also built to look
absolutely stunning in the best possible color combo for a 1969
Chevy. Hugger Orange with black and white houndstooth
interior...just like the famous 1969 Camaro SS! The exterior of the
truck is stunning and straight as an arrow. The truck required very
little body work before being blocked and sprayed with a deep
basecoat clear paint job. The inside of the very clean undamaged
bed floor is very nicely rhinolined. All trim on the outside of
this truck is brand new so there is no ware to speak of. The truck
looks mean sitting on a 8' Skyjacker lift kit with bilstein shocks.
The truck rides right thanks to an added front sway bar and shackle
flip. Everything under this truck is new equipment. The truck stops
thanks to full disc brakes thanks to the late model axles. The
interior is clean and fitted with all the deluxe interior options
including custom trim door panels, headliner, new dash with dakota
gauges, vintage ac controls, trailer brake controller and a nice
custom sound system with bluetooth. The houndstooth bench seat is
the main attraction. Mechanically this truck is as reliable as
driving any modern Chevy pickup and can even be plugged into OBD
scanner to check codes like a new truck. This beast has the heart
from a 2003 Silverado 2500 which was the LQ46.0L Vortec Max. All
that fuel injected power is backed by a heavy duty NV4500 5-Spd
from the same generation pickup. The torque hits the pavement
through a New Process 241C tcase, Dana 44 8Lug ront axle and a AAM
10.5' full floating disc brake axle sits out back. All the brakes
are run through a brand new hydroboost brake.
