Vehicle Description
Just from the extra-tall 4x4 stance on this 1987 Chevrolet
Silverado K-10 you can tell they built this one to be a mean
off-road machine. But as you dig deeper, you're going to discover
upgraded V8 power, a nice A/C interior, and plenty more investments
to make this an all-around great classic pickup.
Stance on this truck is everything. It has the Pro Comp 6-inch
lifted suspension to let you know it gets the job done the moment
it comes into view. This was a $2,000 investment all on its own.
And those black MotoMetal wheels are equal parts art and
intimidation. But there's much more to this truck that just beefy
posture. We have receipts for over $21k in investments from the
last few years that document a well-done all-around upgrade to this
truck. So there's a ton of style here with the red and white two
tone that utilizes fresh pieces of the Silverado's bright trim for
a dividing line along the side and on the cab corners. There's even
more great brightwork with the bumpers, towing mirrors, side steps.
And while you'll like the way this looks, it also has all the right
features to get down to real truck duty, like liner paint
protecting the bed, dual fuel tanks, and a proper trailer
hitch.
Inside is more of the red and white treatment. This is a
comfortable place to spend some time with plush carpeting taut door
panels, and seat finished in supple leather. There are more nice
features like power windows and power locks. You get an upgraded
black and chrome steering wheel that feels great in your hands.
Plus, this generation Silverado had a terrific dash panel that
wraps around the driver. So not only are the gauges easy to see,
but also it's an easy reach to nice features like the upgraded
AM/FM/CD stereo with that has a Kicker speakers, a USB input, and
even Bluetooth with separate mic. And next to it are the controls
for the cold-blowing R134a air conditioning.
The fresh look of the engine bay is another reminder in the overall
investment in this truck. This is a new addition of a fuel-injected
350 cubic-inch Vortec V8 that was installed during the truck's
restoration about 3,500 miles ago. And it exhales through Hooker
headers on it way to the 3-inch exhaust. So you have a strong
running motor that loves to make a proper V8 sound. As you look
underneath the truck, it's clean, right down to the U-bolts, so you
know they paid attention to details. If you ever do decide to take
this clean machine off-road, you know it can handle it with
features like the two-speed 4x4 transfer case, lifted suspension,
and BF Goodrich Mud Terrain T/As. Plus, when you're just rolling
through town, the power steering and power bakes w/discs up front
are easy driving features. Even the 700R4 four-speed automatic
transmission w/overdrive was rebuilt during the restoration.
The sale comes complete with a ton of receipts documenting how this
truck got so fresh inside and out. So it's time to enjoy a lifted
4x4 that truly provides the high life. Call today!!!
