1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 351 4V Cleveland M Code Fastback - Clean title and Marti Report
Dark Green with Black Deluxe Sports Interior, automatic transmission, Power steering, Power disc breaks, Air conditioning, Magnum chrome wheels, Dual exhaust with long tube headers, Aluminum intake manifold with Holley four barrel carburetor, electronic ignition, B & M silver streak shifter, Grant wood rim steering wheel.
Straight, rust free, no body fill which sets off new paint, body refinished in Valspar clear over base system of forest green which was factory color. Original Argent Silver has been finished in clear. Lower sections were unblemished, were not refinished.
Interior is largely original, very nice condition. Wood effect door panels have been replaced.
Fuel system has been completely gone thru, replaced fuel tank, sender and fuel pump. Holley Carburetor has also been overhauled.
The engine has been rebuilt with new piston rings, bearings, oil pump drive, timing plate, timing gears, and double roller chain. All installed with great care to insure reliability along with all new ARP bolts and top quality gaskets. Motor is still in the break in stage with 150 miles.
New brake master cylinder, rotors and hoses. Replaced sway bar links and bushes on the suspension.
The underbody is entirely original with some factory green paint overspray still visible on the floors and axle. There is no evidence of collision or damage on the vehicle.
Overall, this is a good solid Mach 1 which has survived thru the years without the typical rusting issues that most cars of this era have been known to display, a testament to being from an area which is salt free.
