Vehicle Description
With an odometer reading of just 5 miles, there is no doubt that
this 2010 Chevrolet Camaro RS is unrivaled for sheer factory
originality. And, if that is not proof enough, consider that it has
never been dealer prepped and retains the factory plastic wrap and
information stickers. The 2010 Camaro celebrated the end of a
seven-year hiatus for Chevrolet's pony car, which returned as a
clean-sheet design that nonetheless drew heavily on the legendary
1969 model for inspiration. The result is a distinctly modern car
blending nostalgia with refinement, one that not only looks "right"
but also pays tribute to the original with true muscle car
performance. This Camaro RS coupe packs the LS3 6.2L all-aluminum
V-8 engine with sequential fuel injection and dual exhaust with
polished stainless tips, delivering 426 HP and 420 lb-ft of torque
through a Tremec TR6060 6-speed manual transmission to a
Positraction differential. The performance suspension features the
first independent rear suspension in a Camaro, complemented with
StabiliTrak, variable-ratio power steering and 4-wheel, 4-piston
Brembo disc brakes. Shod with Pirelli P Zero tires on 20-inch
Midnight Silver-painted aluminum wheels, the car is splashed in
Inferno Orange metallic paint that recalls the first-generation
Camaro's classic Hugger Orange. The retro-modern theme continues
inside the car's two-tone orange and black leather interior, which
is stylishly accented with contrasting orange stitching on the
seats, armrests, steering wheel, shift knob and center console. The
full complement of comfort and convenience features include a
Boston Acoustics premium audio system-standard on the 2SS
package-with AM/FM/CD sound, satellite radio capability and
steering wheel auxiliary audio controls, as well as a power sunroof
and power windows and door locks. For the true-blue Camaro
aficionado, there is also a console-mounted quartet of oil
temperature, oil pressure, charge and coolant temperature gauges.
