Vehicle Description
A real-deal 1965 Pontiac GTO with its correct 389 V8 and a terrific
color combo is exactly what we all want. And this one even comes
with great documentation to back it all up. So dig into all the
details on this slick hardtop, but don't dwell too long, because
this one is really as good as the pictures.
Blue Charcoal is a great color. It has the intimidating tone of
black, but when the sunlight hits it, that more sophisticated blue
really shines through. So it's great have a more recent
professional respray on the factory-correct color. Beyond the
desirable gloss and shine, you can really tell an investment went
to make sure the body was looking its best - the panels are
straight and the doors close with authority. Plus, those big
form-fitting chrome bumpers look like they were freshly re-dipped
to stand out brightly against the dark paint. As you get up close,
the details are right, too. The new-for-1965 vertical stack
headlights shine like jewels; the intricate tail panel is complete;
and the correct GTO badging is on the front, rear, and fenders.
Plus, those Rally wheels with Redline tires are a great classic
touch that everyone loves.
The black interior goes nicely with the dark blue exterior, and
this hardtop was born with this attractive color combo. This has a
nice vintage and sporty look that starts with the bucket seats.
They are crisp right down to the correct arrowhead emblem embossed
into each one. Matching door panels with correct GTO emblems and
plush dark carpeting make this a true classic muscle car
experience. Aiming for a more European feel in the GTO, Pontiac
designers completed the dash in wood-like trim and well-done
brightwork. Plus, the matching center console continues this
premium feeling. And while this has a very vintage look, they did
update the radio to a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner with aux
input. That way you have access to upgraded tunes when you roll
down all the windows and go cruising in this pillarless
hardtop.
The 389 cubic-inch V8 is a true legend in Pontiac circles, and so
it's always great to have the correct YS clock in the engine bay.
It's presented nicely with details like the corporate turquoise
engine paint and chrome valve covers. Below the bright air topper,
you'll find a Carter four-barrel carburetor feeding the big V8
(comes with a tri-power carb set up as well!). And this package
creates is a sweet symphony out of the quad-tip dual exhaust. This
coupe is easy to enjoy thanks great driving features like an
automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes.
There's plenty of great paperwork documenting the decades of care
in this coupe. It includes the original dealer invoice, bill of
sale, warranty card, title documentation, owner's manual, and
maintenance records. An original coupe that's this well presented
won't stay long in our showroom. Call today!!!
