Vehicle Description
Everyone knows the 911 so we will skip to the 996 variant which
happed in 1999 and was probably one of the most controversial
things Porsche had done to date with the inception of its water
cooled design 911 over the favorable air cooled cars that had been
in place for over 34 years in the 911. It also shared the front end
of the less expensive little brother Boxster. Nonetheless Porsche
did what it had to do to survive the changing times which they did.
Now what we have is some extremely affordable fun, that does not
come with some headaches as they had some mechanical issues up
front and at the time of the early IMS fixes were quite costly.
Luckily the cost has come down and you can get a driver quality
Porsche Sports car for the cost of a used Toyota Camry. This
particular car is going to be the one you want. Not only has it
been well taken care of from new, it has received the IMS fix in
2017 that was done by a reputable Porsche mechanic, a full
hydraulic replacement for the convertible top in 2015 and upgraded
stereo. This car has all service records since day one, owners
manuals and both sets of keys. The tires and brakes are great and
this car is literally ready for whatever you throw at it. The paint
still shines nice with the expected wear and tear for a 100K mile
car. Everything is in working order and is looking for its new
home.
