This ‘57 is a D-code car, equipped with original 312 engine rated at 245 horses, and the desirable 3 speed overdrive transmission.
Engine was rebuilt in the '80s, and about 7 years ago the block was professionally boiled out.
The dash-pad is original to the car, is very firm and has no issues keeping its shape.
Gauges were replaced in the '60s minus the speedometer, with Stewart Warners. This includes a motor minder gauge, as well as oil pressure, water temp, fuel, and amps.
Door panels appear to be done in the 70's around when the paint was applied. The original bench seat as been re-upholstered recently with new foam and original tuxedo vinyl.
