Up for sale is a super rare, super original, 1961 BUBBLE TOP, NO POST, Pontiac Bonneville, with 4 speed Hydra-matic, V8 6.4L 389 engine and a CLEAN TITLE. It starts right up every time, has a steady idle, has no leaks, doesn’t over heat and everything works, including the original radio!
The body is super straight. The paint was redone in the original color (Bamboo White) by the pervious owner about 10 years ago, and isn’t perfect, but it looks good and is very presentable. The chrome and trim pieces are all there and in great shape. The original VIN plate is still attached with the original spot welds, not re-riveted.
The interior was also redone about 10 years ago by the previous owner, and isn’t original, but it shows well, and it’s all intact. The the gauges, lights, original radio, AC/heater, power windows, power antenna, and wipers all work well. All the glass is also in great shape with no cracks, pitting, or delaminating. The OD shows 82XXX miles, but I can’t be sure that milage is accurate. This car is mostly in original condition, but it has had many upgrades and repairs over the years.
