THE VETTE NET is a professional Corvette brokerage network and
proud Lifetime Business Member of the National Corvette Museum.
Thanks for stopping by. IMPORTANT DETAILS: It isn't very often that
will you see a never restored 1960 classic Corvette for sale at a
reasonable price AND in such nice driver-quality condition. Located
in MICHIGAN, this Vette has its original and quite rare Tasco
Turquoise lacquer paint. Back in nineteen seventy-one, the current
owner purchased this amazing 1960 Corvette for the second time and
became its caretaker ever since. He has done an outstanding job!
SPECIFICATIONS as reported by the owner: The replacement engine has
been driven a little over fifteen thousand miles. It is a 1971 400
cubic inch Chevrolet engine with a four-barrel carburetor and runs
great. The options on this Corvette include: • 4-speed transmission
• Hardtop (color matching) • White convertible top • Heater • AM
radio • Windshield washers • Positraction (3.70 ratio) • And white
wall tires. CONDITION RATING 7: This mildly reconditioned C1
Corvette drives and handles as good as it looks. The owner rates
the overall cosmetic condition of his Corvette as very nice
survivor-quality (rating 7). The lacquer paint appears original and
is very shiny with minimal aging. The chrome has never been
restored and shines bright. The interior has been partially
restored (dash pad, seat covers, carpet) and is in very good
condition. The fiberglass body panels appear to be all
factory-original with no evidence of any repair. Looking at the
frame you will note is in very good condition. The suspension
(springs and shocks) was updated several years ago and a new
exhaust system was installed. The 4-speed Borg Warner transmission
appears to be original, as does the positraction differential. The
owner reports his 1960 Tasco Turquoise Corvette is in very good
mechanical and cosmetic condition. It is ready for you to enjoy and
will certainly put a lot of smiles on your face. INSPECTION and
TRANSPORT: No matter where you live, delivery can be arranged
anywhere worldwide at a reasonable cost. I am very experienced
working with international Corvette enthusiasts and welcome all
inquiries. Inspections by a qualified Corvette specialist can also
