This 1968 Mustang 289, automatic transmission, has been in my family for 42 years, after my father purchased it from a private owner in 1978. The car’s restoration was completed in 2007, with the original color (ivory gold). The car has the original engine with an odometer reading of 74522. The car runs well, however my mechanic has suggested the installation of a MSD ignition box for better performance and disc brakes. I will include all receipts for parts, maintenance, repairs, and pictures of the restoration process from 2004 to present, upon request. The car was driven to car shows for several years and won second place in the Occasional Driven category at the Grand National Mustang Club of America show (National Capital Region) in 2011, which was a very proud moment for us. The car has been kept in the garage, has a new battery, and has not been driven much the past several years. I’ve decided it is now time to pass her on to someone else who can experience great joy driving her as you get waves, thumbs up, and horn blows, from other car enthusiasts. Being sold as is.
