When BMW released its new model to be known as the M5 in 1984 in
Frankfurt, it took the world by storm. Designed to be a
high-performance variant of their executive car line, the first
models were built by hand and available for in 1985. The new M5 was
based off of the 535i but with a fully modified M1 engine and
suspension which made this the fastest sedan in the world at that
time. In 1998 the E39 M5 was introduced and had many benefits added
to the newer generation including increased horsepower. This
generation also had a significant increase in production numbers as
well and unlike its predecessors, was produced at the Dingolfing
factory in Germany.

is arguably the best M5 ever built. The 4.9L 394hp V8 was only
offered with a 6speed manual transmission. The driving experience
is unlike any other with athletic handling and a visceral
powerplant propelling it. This M5 is finished in Carbonschwarz
metallic over a black interior that is in excellent condition. The
car features a short throw shifter, sport clutch, and deleted
catalytic converters. This M5 has all the standard BMW amenities
like premium leather power heated front seats, dual climate
control, onboard computer with navigation, alcantara headliner and
a moonroof. There is also a stack of service records to accompany
this car to its new owner.
In the last 4 years the prices have soared on the E39 M5. This
comes as no surprise for anyone having driven one. The BMW M5 is
