The TR-6 came from the Texas Don Davis automobile collection and while there was modified
with dual Weber 32/36 DGAV carbs, a mild grind cam and rear tube shocks.
The car is now in Arizona and underwent an extensive restoration with full receipts.
Mechanically, the car has no issues. It starts easily, runs well with good oil pressure and no noises.
The clutch bites well and the car shifts smoothly through all gears.
The car interior and convertible top are excellent. The exterior has a high quality repaint, it is not a
100 point show car, but it would easily rate an 8 out of 10.

The TR-6 includes a Luggage rack, Convertible top and Tonneau cover, all in excellent condition.
June 2016 the TR-6 began an upgrade. The following identifies the work and new parts installed with receipts:
IGNITION: Replaced ignition wires, coil, plugs, cap, rotor, points, and condenser.
ELECTRICAL: Replaced battery, battery cables, all light bulbs, master light switch, emergency flasher switch,
interior courtesy lights and switch, solid state voltage regulator. Added radio with remote speakers,
retractable radio antenna. Added a remote battery cut-off switch (hidden and lockable) and a Sure Charge,
Auto-Float Battery Maintainer.
LUBRICATION: Changed engine oil and filter, transmission, differential oils. Lubed chassis, U-joints, wheel bearings.
COOLING/HEATING: Flushed cooling system and engine block. Replaced water pump, thermostat, radiator
& heater hoses, heater hose bulkhead connector.
INTERIOR: Refinished dashboard. Replaced dash control knobs. Rebuilt speedometer (mileage kept original).
Cleaned/Tested instruments. Rebuilt seats with slide assemblies, diaphragms and upholstery.
Replaced door handles, door windows channel felt insert guides, waist seals, scraper seals, door crash pads.
Added floor insulation, trunk liner, carpet, interior light and trunk lid rubber seal.
EXTERIOR: Installed keyed alike locks (doors, trunk, interior glove box), dual racing mirrors, door jamb threshold plates. Replaced windshield glass, rubber surround seal, frame to body seal, windshield top polished capping, and convertible top to windshield seal. Added convertible top boot cover.
MISCELLANEOUS: Installed polished stainless steel exhaust system. Replaced accelerator shaft bushings, hood release cable and added a safety back-up release cable. Replaced hood rubber seal and buffers, clutch flex line, rubber grommets and seals throughout. Replaced master cylinder servo unit and flexible brake lines. Flushed brake system. Adjusted valves.
The car includes a Synchrometer Carburetor Flow-Meter and Weber DGAV adapter to synchronize the carburetors.
