For Sale: 1979 De Tomaso Pantera in Cadillac, Michigan
1979 DeTomaso Pantera GT5 on a complete Pantera SI frame. Its 351
Cleveland engine is stroked to 408 cubic inches. The transaxle is a
ZF Le Mans with a 377 ring gear. The ZF output shafts are
constant-velocity (CV) joints in lieu of Pantera half shafts. The
car is still under construction and the buyer has the option of
interior finish as desired. Pantera SI suspension is unique in the
DeTomaso world and features extended A-arms that are 4 1/4' longer
than stock Pantera. Its dual aluminum gas tanks have separate
fillers on each side of the car. Body flares are genuine DeTomaso
factory group 5. Its running board support brackets were engineered
and produced by DeTomaso. The brakes feature directional vented
