She purrs like a cat, accelerates and shifts flawlessly. Suspension is tight and brakes in a straight line with no wandering.
I overhauled the AC system, fuel system, charging and cooling system. Every electrical and mechanical component works as it should.

Say you are looking for a classic car in which you can take the family along.
What legitimately rare classic car can you buy today for $10,000? Well, the list is pretty short and if you are talking about European cars, it is even shorter.
When the Jaguar XJ6 was introduced in 1968, the brochure titled “Enter the Private World of the Jaguar XJ6” perfectly summed up these cars.

I first met Clive Cussler in 1999 at a book signing. We ended up hanging out after the signing, discussing cars and the car hobby. I mentioned that I had always wanted to try SCUBA diving. He said that I needed to get certified as a diver and that he was sure I would love […]
